Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Today was a beautiful day. We started off our day with a lovely church service. Then came back here and had a big ham dinner. Well, they had a big ham dinner. I had a salad. My salad was really good too. It had a yummy oil/vinegrette dressing and a perfectly ripe avocado. Plus some other stuff. It was good. Then we did the annual Easter Egg Hunt with the children. They have so much fun doing this and we have lots of fun watching them. They are so cute! After that I made my raw carrot cake. It was ok. Just alright. I didn't even finish the piece that I took. And the memory card for the digital camera is broken so I couldn't take any pictures. It looked pretty good but I was not that impressed by the flavor. Or the texture. The chocolate cake I made earlier this year was head and shoulders better. Like way, way better. So I won't be doing that cake again. But the childen liked it so they get to have carrot cake for breakfast tomorrow. How cool is that? That should make them pretty happy! :)

Last night I was thinking about hubbys upcoming trip and I thought that maybe I should do a juice feast while he is gone. That will prevent me from doing any bad binging. I am going to seriously consider this option. Tomorrow I will make some kale chips. I have a bunch of kale to use. Then Tuesday, the day hubby leaves, I could start my juice feast. It is a good idea. Hmmmmm.......... something to think about.

I am wiped out now. I don't know why I am so tired. But I am. So it is off to beddie bye time for me. I'm going to go scoop up the baby and take her to bed. I love to snuggle with her. She is the sweetest little baby in the whole world!!! Such a joy to be around. I love that baby!!! And....
